Sara Schuler joined the team at Faith in November 2019 to serve as administrative coordinator, and she works closely with Web Gehring to oversee all church communications.
A native of Elk Point, South Dakota, Sara moved to Grand Forks as she prepared to marry her husband Ian, who had grown up at Faith. As soon as she arrived, Sara quickly became part of the Faith family as well.
Sara loves to read, and she is particularly drawn to reading arguments for Christianity and learning to defend her faith. During the summers, Ian and Sara enjoy gardening, and in the winters, they enjoy working on indoor house projects and working at UND hockey games.
Sara enjoys getting to know the people of our church family and being able to help answer their questions as she serves on our staff. She appreciates the emphasis on expository preaching at Faith, as she developed a love for that kind of Bible teaching during her college years. Sara is grateful to be surrounded by pastors and elders who are dedicated to following Christ and His Word.
What are you most excited about for FEFC in the next year or two?
“I am excited to see our people grow in their faith and their understanding of who God is and what it means to be God’s people. In a world that seems to be straying from biblical truth, I am excited to see Faith be an anchor in the storms that life will bring, pointing to the comfort that is found in God’s Word.”
