Pastor Jason Holm

Pastor Jason Holm has served as Senior Pastor at Faith since June 2017. In his role as senior pastor, Jason is the primary teaching pastor on Sunday mornings. He also leads the staff and, with the elders, provides an overall direction for the church. Prior to the Lord bringing him to Faith, Jason served in pastorates for nineteen years in Wisconsin and Missouri.

The son of a Montana pastor, Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Calvary University, a master’s degree in Christian Theology from Calvary Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biblical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastor Jason and his wife Allison met as students at Calvary University, and they married a week after their graduation in 1997. God has given them a son and then a daughter, and their time spent together as a family is the source of much joy. They all enjoy following the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and the University of Kansas Jayhawks. Reading and woodworking are also some of Pastor Jason’s favorite pastimes.

For Jason, it has been exciting to witness the Lord bring together a team of staff and elders who serve together with the goal of seeing every believer in Jesus discipled and matured. He is eager to see how the Lord continues to work in our midst, bringing all of the young families in our fellowship into a more cohesive part of the whole and enabling them to participate in the discipleship process.

Why should someone come and worship at Faith Evangelical Free Church?

“Not everyone will choose Faith, although everyone needs a church like Faith! Our focus is very simple. We want the Word of God to take center stage in our ministry. In that Word, we find all that we need for life with one another and for following Jesus. So all that we do and say is grounded in the Scriptures, for it is God's means of making us more like Christ. Faith is one of the great places for fellowship, worship, and maturing as a disciple.”
